Sunday Evening Thoughts

There have been a lot of recent police-related happenings in this country, there are a lot of reasons for this being in the mainstream right now, specifically because there are midterm elections soon and there are powerful agendas which get a certain type of protester out to vote due to it.  That, however, does not negate the fact that this is a country of laws and that we are all expected to follow the law.  When a person does not follow that law there are potential serious, life altering, consequences.  This something which is already known, constantly reaffirmed and installed to the point it would be willful ignorance to believe otherwise.  Consider this when thinking about the situations which are in the public eye right now.  It is a universal truth in the US.

The fact is that as the season changes toward the warmer months, we enter the most dangerous season in the US for everyone, citizens and LEOs alike.  This season does not care about the race, sexual orientation or preference, beliefs or social status, we are all equally exposed to it and we should do everything in our power to understand that as it gets warmer, violent crime rises.

You should be prepared for this, we should always be prepared for this, and we should always be making ourselves more dangerous to the criminals who would perpetrate those crimes against us.
