I recently posted photos of my Samsung Galaxy S5, and about two weeks ago the thing decided to start going all 56k on me.
I decided it was time to upgrade to something a little bit newer and would allow me more control. Having owned the original Google Nexus phone, I decided to go with the Nexus 5x
32gb version in black. I have a friend who has one and raved about it so I gave it a go. No BS, its the fastest phone I have ever used and is only slightly smaller than its big brother the Nexus 6p
, but is still slightly bigger than the GS5 I am upgrading from. The best part of this phone? The fact you can do whatever you want. I uninstalled everything I do not use or plan to use. The second best part? Locally (on device) stored finger-print reader to turn on phone and unlock at the same time. Awesome.
Both camera's (front/rear) are pretty good and the screen resolution is really good.
I bought a heavy duty supcase for it since it'll be on my kit at work and might get banged around. Just remember it uses type-c usb
so you'll have to swap your stuff to that. Bright side is, they are not expensive, I bought a three pack of wires
and it works really well.
