As always I start off with a 200 drill for a Range Report. The above is a 200 drill in 60 seconds, ran cold, with my EDC Gen 4 Glock 19 with an S3F Solutions match barrel with Trijicon HD sights using Winchester White Box 115gr 9mm. I can see the S3F barrel is finally getting its feet, though I am still throwing rounds low and left, that is all me and not the gun. As you can see I threw one round shooting two hand strong hand standing freestyle (12 o'clock position in the 6 ring), I threw two rounds standing free style one hand strong hand (1 and 2 o'clock position 6 and 7 ring) and one round standing free style other strong hand only out of the whole ring at the 12 o'clock position. I did not take 10 points off as I should have and only took 5 points off, so my total score should be a 160. I did not take a break between shots and shot all strings in a steady pace slightly slower than a 200-in-60sec cadence.
I took the opportunity to shoot a friend's HK VP9. I have shot it before but wanted to see how accurate I was with it shooting quickly. The above is a 100 in as fast as I could get the sights back on target. The trigger is nice and if I took my time I could probably get a bunch of 10 ring hits, slapping the trigger is still slapping the trigger on any gun.
The above is my modified G19L with a DueckDefense Red Dot Back Up Sight Base or "RBU" as they call it. That was a 3x5 index card at 25 yards, starting from high ready, 2 seconds 5 shots. RMR is an RM06. Stay tuned for more about the RBU.
