"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time..." Those brave men and women who gave their lives for this country over its adolescence have not done so in vain. America is the manifestation of freedom, we the people, are its shining example. We must act to keep the republic safe and allow it to exist, not just for ourselves, but for the next generation of Americans who will be called upon to do so. We must protect our rights, our fundamental and natural human rights whenever possible. We have a choice today, we will either accept that all men and women are not created equal, or that the Constitution actually means something. It means something to me and I am sure it means something to you. Today we as Americans get to exercise a right which is just as important as freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. We must vote. Whatever your preference, whatever issues are important to you, whatever your reasons are, make sure you go out and vote. Make sure that you go out and vote for real American values, for the Constitution and help preserve our way of life. It is our responsibility and our right as Americans to do so.
