Last post of 2014

With this post I wave farewell to 2014 and look toward 2015 to continue accomplishing the goals which I have set for myself.  I would like to challenge those who read this blog with a task, something to strive to do in the new year.

Stop making excuses for yourself.  Think about everything you want to accomplish and set out to do it.  One step today is a step closer tomorrow.  What are your goals for the new year?  Why are you not already working on them?  The change of a calender should not signify some mystical time period where you can magically being anew; you are still the same person you were yesterday and will be tomorrow.  What are you doing to be a better person? A stronger person? A more deadly person?  Are you sitting behind a keyboard all day or are you training?  Find whatever motivation you need in order to get yourself to a point in your life where you are your definition of capable.  Then crush that person you have become by becoming someone even better and stronger.

Fuck being weak and fuck weak people.

I posted this before and I really like what he has to say.  Marcus Luttrell went to through hell both mentally and physically.  He is still a person just like you, but he worked his ass off in order to get to a point where he could survive this.  Do you think you could have done it? "With the amount of training he had, yea maybe." Do not deal in maybe's, "Do. Or do not. There is no try."  Become that person, strive to become someone who you may not think you could be.  You owe it to yourself, but you owe it to your friends, your family, your peers and your country.  You have the ability to do anything but within the finite time line of your life.  Do not waste it.
