One thing you will notice while listening is that a BearCat is the lead several times until one of the criminal's with an AK shoots out the tires on the armored vehicle and that forces the non-armored police vehicles to fall back, relying on the police helicopter to take the lead. Also the lack of long-guns in all the vehicles required certain officers to head to front of the pursuit pack in order to try to take a shot and/or when the pursuit ends so that they can engage the criminals with effective firepower.
